The 100 West Walnut project is a mixed-use development that will is intended to complement the existing office buildings on the site that are located in the Parson’s building. The proposal includes 612,500 square feet of office space, of which up to 22,500 square feet could be used for ground floor retail stores, 2,500 square feet of restaurant space, 15,000 square feet of retail uses along the Fair Oaks Avenue frontage. Also included in the project is a development of residential units which will bring 475 new construction condos in Old Town Pasadena. According to the Pasadena Star News , the proposed development would be located on the paved parking area on the site and parking for the proposed Project would be provided in a subterranean parking structure offering 3,322 parking spaces. The designated parking will not just provide spaces for the retail stores, restaurants, offices, and residential units, but also will provide parking for Old Town visitors in general and for events at the nearby Rose Bowl.
