The Pasadena Playhouse District is an urban neighborhood in Pasadena and is know for being a financial and entertainment center for the city. The Playhouse District offers many new construction apartments and condos that have recently been developed within the area, due to a demand for people to be able to live within walking distance to shops, restaurants and entertainment. They neighborhood gets it’s name from the historic and renowned Pasadena Playhouse that is located on South El Molino Avenue. There is also a very large amount of high rated, but affordable restaurants located in the Playhouse District, as well as other places of culture and entertainment such as the Laemmle Playhouse and the Pacific Asia Museum.
